What a beautiful weekend to be in Rochester for walking and helping fight Kidney Disease! I met some really great dialysis patients at the dialysis center of Highland Hospital. They all had very positive attitudes, which is important when you have to routinely get your blood cleansed of toxins. If you have kids and are visiting Rochester, you may want to visit the Strong's museum of play. There were a lot of happy kids there on a beautiful Saturday afternoon enjoying "Kids performing for kids".
I headed east from downtown down University Avenue and through the ARTwalk district. There I saw the Memorial Art Gallery - School of Arts with unique sidewak art and sculptures. There was also the Eastman Museum of Photography and the Rochester Science Museum on East Ave. I wanted to make one historical stop, so I visited the Fredick Douglass resource center, but I couldn't resist stopping by Susan B. Anthony's house. There is a lot to see in Rochester, NY.
If I am in Rochester, I must pay a visit to my creator, Mr. Angel Vazquez. The Sidney the Kidney Walks USA graphics on this website was created by Mr. Vazquez. It was great to see you Mr. Vazquez and thanks clicking on the donate button and contributing to the fight against Kidney disease. The help you provide will help us educate more people about preventing Kidney disease.
